Former British Army Air Corps pilot, Major Tim Peake CMG is an astronaut for the European Space Agency and became the first Brit to do an International Space Station spacewalk in 2015. Tim also talked from the ISS to the acclaimed physicist Professor Stephen Hawking and rockstar Brian May. His mission ended in 2016 and he was appointed Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George (CMG) from The Queen
As a STEM thought leader and pioneer, Tim works with children, parents and teachers to increase the uptake of sciences among British learners. In support of STEM education, he donated proceeds from his books and created the Scouts Scientists Activity Badge to further promote useful life skills.
As a speaker, Tim is inspirational and has a fund of unique life stories to draw on. His work as a pilot trainer in the military, deployments in Germany, Kenya, Canada, Cyprus, Northern Ireland and Yugoslavia and his time on the ISS provide are fertile ground for his speeches and talks, as he fascinates and captivates audiences for a memorable keynote experience.
