Roya Nikkhah

Roya Nikkhah is the Royal Editor for The Sunday Times and a leading Royal Presenter,  Commentator and Broadcaster for major television and radio networks. A former Royal and Arts Correspondent for The Sunday Telegraph, Roya has more than a decade of experience in royal coverage, breaking exclusive stories and covering major royal events, and has secured exclusive interviews with members of the royal family including the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex.
Roya is in high demand as a Royal Commentator on a range of programmes for national and international broadcasters including the BBC, ITV, Sky News, CBS, ABC, NBC and CNN.  She has also presented the royal documentaries: “Prince William, Monarch in the Making” (Spun Gold, 2020) and “Meghan and Harry: The Baby Years” (Spun Gold, 2019).
For the Platinum Jubilee, Roya co-anchored the BBC’s coverage of the National Service of Thanksgiving with David Dimbleby and broadcasted alongside Huw Edwards in the BBC’s official coverage of the death and funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh. In 2019, Roya was part of the team presenting the BBC’s coverage of the Queen’s Birthday Parade, Trooping the Colour and the official D-Day commemorations broadcast. In 2018, she was part of the on-screen line-up for the BBC’s live coverage of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding.
Roya is an accomplished  Keynote Speaker and Event Moderator, sharing insights and reflections on her experiences covering the Royal Family.
