Ramia Farrage

Ramia Farrage is an Emcee and Moderator and has a long history of hosting a variety of public and private sector events. As the Presenter and News Bulletin Editor of Emirates News on Dubai One TV, she has led the news broadcast since its launch in 2007. Previously, Ramia presented and produced the program Business Arabia, which aired internationally on CNBC.

Ramia has interviewed several world leaders including General Pervez Musharraf, President of Pakistan, Mohammed Khatami, President of Iran, Gerhard Schroeder, Chancellor of Germany and Jimmy Carter, US President.

Ramia acts as an emcee at high-profile private and public sector events including the World Government Summit in Dubai, where each year she moderates the sections on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

She is also a freelance contributor published in Arabian Business Magazine and Forbes Arabia among several other publications.

Ramia holds a MA in Global Diplomacy-International Relations from the University of London, SOAS, as well as a BA in Communications from the University of Winnipeg and an Associate’s Degree in Journalism from Red River College.
