Prof Brian Cox OBE
A successful rock star turned scientist, Professor Brian Cox is a familiar face from TV & radio with programmes Wonders of the Universe, Wonders of the Solar System, The Planets, Human Universe, In Einstein’s Shadow and Stargazing Live reaching mainstream audiences. Brian is also a professional particle physicist at the University of Manchester and he worked at CERN on the ATLAS experiment. And in 2021 he presented two programmes for BBC Two: Universe and Brian Cox’s Adventures in Space and Time.
Brian is a popular keynote speaker, lecturer and presenter. His ability to inspire audiences about space and the universe makes him a popular choice for most events. He’s been awarded the Michael Faraday Prize from the Royal Society for his work in science communication plus an honorary doctorate from the University of Huddersfield; (given to him by Star Trek’s Sir Patrick Stewart) and many more honours and awards in the field of science.
