Nina Schick
As one of the first experts in Generative AI, Nina advises several AI and technology companies in the rapidly exploding space, including Truepic — the first company to build media authentication technology, and Synthesia — the world’s first AI video-generation platform.
Nina debut book, ‘Deepfakes,’ (2020) is the first book on AI-generated content, and has been translated into five languages, including Japanese, German and Mandarin. In it, she predicts that over 90% of online content will be generated by AI by 2030.
Before specialising in Generative AI, Nina worked in geopolitics on global crises including the Russia-Ukraine war; Brexit; election interference; and information operations during the Covid-19 pandemic. She has advised leaders including Joe Biden, the President of the United States; Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the former Secretary General of NATO.
Nina has been published by WIRED, the MIT Tech Review, The Times, and TIME amongst others. She is a regular commentator on international broadcast channels including the BBC, Sky News, Bloomberg and CNBC. She has appeared on stages including TedX, CogX and WebSummit.
Nina speaks seven languages, and calls London, Berlin and Kathmandu home.
