Lisa Aziz
Lisa Aziz is a well-known face – and voice – to millions.
The award-winning broadcaster first took the news to national audiences at UK breakfast channel TV-am, winning the TRIC (Television and Radio Industries Club) Presenter of the Year award.
As a main presenter at Sky News, she anchored some of the biggest stories in recent years and won the Best TV News Journalist EMMA (Ethnic Multicultural Media Awards) award for her live coverage, on location, of the Hajj Pilgrimage. The death of Princess Diana, the 7/7 bombings and Madrid attacks along with continuous coverage of the Twin Towers atrocity also saw Lisa at the forefront of presentation.
As well as anchoring for ITV’s The West Tonight when it won the RTS (Royal Television Society) award for Best Regional News Programme, Lisa Aziz has presented Big Talk on BBC 2, the BBC’s World Business Tonight and a daily show for Dubai TV, broadcast across the Emirates. She was also Associate Editor at ITV West.
She has had her own news show on LBC radio at Breakfast, kept drive-time listeners up to date as news presenter for The Eddie Mair Show and now fronts a 4-hour Breakfast show on LBC News. The only woman to do so at LBC.
Lisa has a wealth of experience in the corporate sector also, as a crisis management adviser and event host and facilitator…which has seen her go around the world with the likes of Accenture/RBS/Lloyds and Sony.
