Lily Cole
Lily Cole is a model with fashion & beauty campaigns for brands like Rimmel, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Longchamp, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Moschino and more. Named “Model of the Year” by the British Fashion Awards in 2004, since then, Lily has branched out as an entrepreneur, activist and creative. Achieving a First Class BA in History of Art from Cambridge University in 2011 with a subsequent Honorary Doctor of Letters from GCU, Lily went on to found Impossible.com. This group of global solutionists are working to address environmental issues.
Lily regularly speaks to impassioned audiences on stage at Zeitgeist, Davos, Wired and the Web Summit on issues of conservation, sustainability, global change and the environment. And she’s highly involved with scholarly and charitable work related to art and activism. Lily is an affiliate at the Berkman Center at Harvard University, creative partner for the Brontë Society, patron of the EJF and closely linked with the WWF. As part of her work, she writes often for global press organisations and her first book “Who Cares Wins: Reasons For Optimism in Our Changing World” was highly reviewed by critics and consumers alike.
