Helen Hoddinott

Helen Hoddinott is a reporter and newsreader with seven years experience in regional and national newsrooms.

After moving from online into broadcasting in 2018, Helen quickly learned how to make great radio, winning Newcomer of the Year at both the Midland Media Awards and the IRNs in her first year on air.

She reported extensively across the West Midlands, before moving to London to take up the role of Bauer’s senior reporter for their brand new team covering the capital.

Since then, Helen has broadcast from the scenes of the country’s biggest breaking news stories; her packages being aired on Kiss, Magic, Absolute and Greatest Hits Radio, including a large number of video report, showcasing her on-screen prowess and talents as a television reporter.

Helen has plenty of experience back on desk too, having spent a year as a newsreader for stations including Jazz FM, Planet Rock, Kerrang!, Scala and Greatest Hits Radio UK.

A versatile all-rounder, she has a great voice, broadcasts with flair and personality, and loves nothing more than meeting amazing people and telling their stories.
