Alex Sbardella is the Head of Product at Unicard and a CX expert with global speaking track record and the ability to humanise tech topics, especially in retail, so that businesses can remain at the cutting edge. Alex is a graduate of the University of Warwick with a BSc in Psychology and he’s put this to good use as a consumerist. With over a decade as a consultant and account manager in the tech & retail space, Alex understands the challenges of consumer-facing businesses in an ever-changing landscape. Additionally, his role with transport adds another layer of competency to a speaking mix that’s at once relatable and engaging.
A guest lecturer at Birmingham City University, consulting expert for the BBC and regular columnist, Alex devised the Connected Retail Index and created applications that are popular and award-winning — including the very first IBM Watson Global Developer Challenge win for AI in application. He’s advised some of the world’s largest companies including Microsoft, Chanel, Six Flags, Mastercard, Three, ASOS, Harrods and The National Trust on customer experience and app innovation. As such, Alex is perfectly positioned to deliver talks on artificial intelligence, CX, user behaviour and tech trends.
